25000 iPhone 3Gs sold for hours in Saudi Arabia
iPhone is already being sold in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. According to CNET data in the first hours of the release of iPhone 3G there were 25000 devices sold. All this is regardless the fact that iPhone doesn’t work well with arabic text, sending SMS is not possible and websites do not appear correctly. The operator promised to fix this in three months. Apple’s partner in Saudi Arabia is local Mobily and in the United Arab Emirates - Etisalat.
